Bob Flowerdew which book?

Bob flowerdews my favourite gardener, can anyone advise me on which is his best book? I,m not interested in growing flowers just fruit and veg. Is there anyone else like him who has a book out? I have the self sufficent ones by John seymour. I like Bobs uses of things we all have laying around etc.

Its a very personal preference, i would suggest you go to a good book shop and have a look at what they have in stock and have a real good read though.

Most of Bob's books are about fruit and veg anyway...
"The complete fruit book" is good...and "The gourmet gardener", which cover both the fruit and the veg..
First one describe different fruits; how to grow them, different varieties for different locations and uses, pruning and training, harvesting and storing , companion planting, other uses and some recipies too.
Second one is bit similar but it is more about growing technics and soil preparation..no recipies..
I like both of them but like Cambourne said go to book shops and have a look first as they are not cheap to buy and it is so annoying if the book is not quite what you wanted..

Bob's book 'The Organic Bible' covers the lot, highly recommend that one, also his 'No Work Gardening' is worth getting from the library.

I've got his 'Companion Gardening', 'No-Work Gardening' and 'Organic Bible'. Of the three I think 'No-Work Gardening' is my favourite, but they're all useful. I think a lot depends on the individual's needs.

I also have the 'No Work Gardening' book.  I like it because it gives really straightforward advice on how to do things differently or maybe that should be sensibly.
