Sheds in wet weather

I'm getting a shed delivered on Saturday and the forecast is wet, with a hint of rain and then a sprinkling of wet.

If I go ahead and put the shed up on Saturday in the wet will it be okay until we get a couple of days of dry weather before I put timber protection on it or will getting it wet now get it off to a bad start?

I've never put a shed up before and it looks like I will be doing the majority on my own so a bit nervous about getting it soaked inside and out before I have even started.

Any help or tips gratefully received.

I would have thought a shed would have been pre-treated, so no problem.

Even if it isn't one week in the rain will not hurt.

Sheds are generally stored outside wherever you buy them from and they should be pre treated so yes if the weather is good this weekend put it up, however if you feel you need to coat it with a shed treatment/ colour please wait until it has dried out as the treatments from DIY stores these days are water based and if there should be some damp in the timber and you cover it there may be some peeling problems later.. New shed and you want to look after it and look good...Don't rush it or worry;D.

Thanks a lot for the tips guys, the wet weather can't last forever (famous last words!) so I can get it put up this weekend and then once we have a few dry days I can get it treated properly.

Currently working on negotiations to get OH to help hold the big bits in the rain...wish me luck!
