Hi, everyone

Been following this site for a few months, took the plunge and joined today.

Lots of rain last week and storms. Early potatoes were knee-high with flowers but most flower stems have now snapped in half.

Is this a problem? and should I take off the snapped stems if they are still hanging on by a thread?

Probably be back with more questions as very new to veg gardening

Thanks

Suzie

Infuriating, isn't it! Same here.

Yes - pick them off & be patient!

You do all you can then the weather mucks it up

What is left the wild life help themselves to it.

Wonder why we bother, but we do.

hiya, suzie, welcome to the site
our spuds are in flower, we are already eating them, have a gentle feel around in the soil, you may be lucky  ;D
