my green peppers are going kinda black on the skin, is this a sign of them going to change to red and rippen or should i pick and eat them now?

i seem to remember mine doing that when they were ripening certainly my chillies do it so pretty sure its normal

Yes it is normal to get part of the pepper go black before all of it turns red, looks like you'll be picking red peppers in another week or so.
