Butterflies yesterday... I'm rather pleased with these piccies!

Aren't they some of the most stunning creatures on earth? Took these in the butterfly tent at London Zoo yesterday.

I saw one like the bottom one while on holiday walking the pembrokeshire Coast.

Today I went to say hello to one of the guy's on my allotment site and he's got two buddleia bushes and as I went past a cloud of butterflies took flight...it was amazing!

Lovely photos Ollie :)  So nice to see as we hardly have any in our garden this year, only the dreaded CW's. I think they are definitely on the decline :'(

Great pics.  I have seen quite a number of butterflies just recently.  I had a few in my garden last week and keep seeing them in the buddlei dotted here n there.

Fabulous pics Ollie.We were lucky enough to see clouds of common Blues this morning on the Peddars Way in Norfolk, but I haven't seen them anywhere else this year.
