Pink Fir Apple is a late maincrop (so don't bother chitting it), and it's a salad potato, so don't bother trying to mash or roast it.
Grow Rooster for roasting !

PFA may not mash but they roast (and chip) beautifully

Jim put them into a stew yesterday and they were  lovely,very firm ,ideal for

this type of cooking. :)

Agree with betula - they're great for use in a stew to take to work for lunch in a wide necked flask, because other potatoes seem to go mushy, these hold their shape and texture well. Also, so does Anya.
