Pink Fir Apple is a late maincrop (so don't bother chitting it), and it's a salad potato, so don't bother trying to mash or roast it.
Grow Rooster for roasting !

PFA may not mash but they roast (and chip) beautifully

Jim put them into a stew yesterday and they were  lovely, very firm ,ideal for

this type of cooking. :)

Agree with betula - they're great for use in a stew to take to work for lunch in a wide necked flask, because other potatoes seem to go mushy, these hold their shape and texture well. Also, so does Anya.

Rumblings again over my Roasties last night! Decided there's nothing wrong with the Potatoes, i'm just stuck with a bunch of Moaning Minnies

-"can we not grow them next year?"
-"yes, of course we can"
-"No, can we NOT grow them next year?"
