i have had my plot since march this year and been workingmy ass off getting it ready for next year. a few weeks ago a lady came on to the site who had 300 ex batts to re home after a bit of thought i took on 20 so i set to work on the coop and run at the bottom of my plot its a good size 40 feet by 60 with over head protection and all that . this weekend we have had the same has everyone Else in this fine land we live in rain rain and just for luck a bit more rain the run is now a pond i have dug a trench to drain it off but no doubt this is going to be a wet area during winter . will the hens be OK or will they get bad feet and should i move the lot to higher ground  ???

Hi, shaun, welcome to the site
sorry, don't know but I'm thinking of fitting our chickens with water wings and wellies, we've shipped in loads of wood chips to put down in the run which seems to have helped a bit  :-\
