the other way is to make a donation to the site here, as explained here

http://www.allotments4all.co.uk/smf/index.php/topic,23713.0.html

either way you can upload pictures from your Desktop (or anywhere else on your PC)

I didn't know they ate fuschias! Small price to pay.........

OH DEAR!! another senior moment, i did have a subscription on here but it ran out on the 1st of this month, had forgotten all about it, will update it.  I only knew they love the fuschias
from the internet, but, that is where the larvae are coming from.  Shirley B

Kea

Last year I had one similar but it ate bindweed and that's where I found it, I was really pleased but unfortunately only one and it didn't eat enough. I was hoping I might eventually see the moth supposed to be the size of a small bat.

Picture doesn't give any idea of size though, it was huge!

They are indeed, I've found them now and then on evening primrose. They've vanished now, with the last two dreadful summers, but hopefully they'll be back.

Hi Kea,  what gorgeous colours on the pictures you posted, the one in my garden was very plain, I put him back in the foliage, and my husband saw another, I really hope we see the moths, but won't hold my breath.  I have updated my subscription and hope to put the photo in here.  Shirley B[attachment=1][attachment=2]

Kea

Don't run yours down Shirley they may not be as colourful but the patterns are beautiful.

shirley B

you are so right Kea,the pattern is lovely, and I really wasn't running him down.  Now, perhaps I had better get off the edible plants section, will look for the appropiate section when I next want help, lovely to talk to you all.
