 Not quite finished Georgie, haven't collected seeds yet but will look tomorrow.
I did manage to save few seeds (so far) from the 2 Borage plants that I got from the 3 seeds you sent me.

Pauline, the Passion fruits are from 'Caerulea' which I gather is not particularly tasty.  Grotbag keeps telling me to try it tho', perhaps he wants to get rid of me?   ;)  I might be brave.   ;D

I'm going to try growing 'Edulis' next year, which is the edible Passion fruit, although I gather we really don't get hot enough summers here for a decent harvest.  Still, nothing ventured eh?

I tried one of the fruits last year Georgie.  It wasn't unpleasant and I lived to tell the tale!  Go on, be brave!

Okay I've been brave.  I tasted one and it was sweet and juicy but with no discernable passion fruit flavour.   ::)

And just a word of warning re the Tree Spinach, Ceres.  It really does reach six feet tall.  Mine were only grown in 12" pots so I've has to tie them to the fence to stop them blowing over!   :o

Yes, it's quite odd they're fruity but not any particular fruit taste.  I did wonder at the time about making jelly or adding to soemhting else in a jam if I'd had enough of them.  Didn't get any this year  :(

Thanks for the warning about the tree spinach.  When I plant them out I'll make sure they can be tied in.  We had strong winds here today - one of my cucumber wigwams was blown over.  Even the birds seemed to be struggling with the gusting.
