that looks like lots of fun,the youngsters who come to our plots love us to have a bonfire, don't know what it is with kids and fire  ;D
amazing difference  :)

You've done a brilliant job there- well done! Wish I had some willing helpers like yours- for some reason my kids (15.19 and 21) aren't at all keen! :D

Laying out the area for the shed and patio

took two days to dig up the old carpet for one bed

Amazing progress, well done all of you! Reminds me of our plot when we took it on 10 years ago but it took us best part of a year to get it all cleared. Hope you get as much fun out of it as I do, and once you start to reap rewards the excitement is fantastic. Great to see the kids getting stuck in too.

TUT TUT TUT child labour has been outlawed in this country awhile now ;). well done on your progress, my 8yr old loves to help in the vege garden too and has her own bed as well.

Start of the fruit bed (left)and layout of the start of compost bins at the rear

Temp compost bin

Whole of plot. The 1st picture on this thread was taken from next to the bin in the top right of this picture.

Just under half the plot was taken up by a rubbish tip(left of the 2nd picture), as you can see above, there is not much of it left.
