help - this is bugging me

im trying to remember the name of a program i used to watch as a kid.  think it was called something along the lines of "the country man" - it was an older guy with grey hair and a beard, who smoked a pipe.  the program showed you aspects of country life etc.
im sure the bit where the guy did his talking was done up to look like the inside of a horse drawn caravan
please please please help me lol

Beat me to it Lauren.....I used to look forward to this on Sunday afternoons.   Doubt they could make this sort of programme now.....if they tried, who would they get in to do Jack Hargreaves part?
