The thing that goads me most about cases like this 1 is the the people that cause the suffering will suffer nothing like what they caused they will end up in one of our many locked "hotels" and get everyrthing that they want and not suffer a jot. we are too lenient iin cases like these in my mind. >:(

Don't go blaming the people on the ground, Usually these awful events are down to underfunding of the department. But the people who made the financial decisions are so far removed from the department it is some other poor worker that is the scapegoat. They are making redundancies down here in the child protection dept as they would rather waste their money on overpaid chief executives and the like. My wife works in the next office which is Adult protection and I expect she does a quarter of her work for no pay as there is no overtime etc. but help cannot stop just because it is 5. oclock.

I am willing to bet the social services in that area are in the same boat and the social workers are so overworked things are bound to be missed.  The trouble is lessons are not learnt. New councillors are voted in and they will promise cheaper council tax, so another service gets so diluted it will not work.

As for the *fatherless children* that done this terrible thing. Don't let me start!

 Richard, my heart bleeds for that dear baby, God bless him.  How come his "real" father who professed to love him dearly never noticed anything, i would like to know.


The scum that did that to him should be put on a bonfire.
I know i know, but it makes me so angry they will be out of prison in about 6yrs, the dirty evil scumbags.
