In December's Kitchen Garden magazine, I see there is an offer on the 'A Pennine Kitchen & Garden' DVD's , 13 DVD's for £60. Each disc covers a month of 2008.

I've looked at these several times and wondered what they are like....has anyone seen them? Any good? ???
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

Like you I have seen them advertised and wondered what they are like but as I am on the only growing enthusiast in the house, I would need to book a slot to watch them.  that is most likely to during the day and I could be at the allotment :D

Or you can get it for £17 from here:

Bump.

No one seen these then? ???

I got Feb 2007, as a free gift with a magazine I think, and actually started to watch it last weekend. I have to say it wasn't riveting, but then there's not a huge amount to be doing in February! I'm more than happy to send it to you so that you can try before you buy ;D I got as far as making homemade mushroom soup and I'm afraid I lost interest... but I'm sure the more gardeny months are much better viewing!

Deb P

Oh dear. that doesn't sound promising! Thanks for the kind offer, but I think I will pass after your assessment! ;D

I watched a really good DVD based on the seasons work at the Heligan gardens the other day, it was really good and I would recommend that to anyone...and it is a lot cheaper than the other set!
