Plot69

Title says it all really.

Weather has been fine and sunny all week albeit a little cold and frosty. Had a hectic week so was really looking forward to getting to the plot this weekend and now look at it out there!

Suppose I'd better go help make mince pies with the kids instead

Thought about the match myself but Im still suffering with man flu so it would be silly for me to go.........plus the earache from the Mrs would be unbearable!
You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends nose

I thought of popping down the lottie but it's too far to swim...

Plot69

Well I'm seriously thinking of planting rice this year.

I've had a bad cold, but it's been too cold to do anything anyway, the ground's been frozen solid. It finally thawed out a bit yesterday. Dunno when I'll be able to do anything next. I need to sort out a permanent site for those bees, but it'l have to wait.

I was at the plot at 10am this morning.  The compost centre had delivered 20 bags at the front gate, so I had to barrow them to my plot - that took 30 mins and I was drenched by the time I had finished.

Am I the only one whose hair, when left to its own devices will dry at right angles, so that I look like I've been dragged backwards through a hedge :-[

Still raining..........

I've been losing it steadly now for a number of years so unless your eye brows curl or stick out at right angles, then I can't comment.  Basically I think I'm trying to say I'm jealous!

It didn't stop raining from the moment I got up to the moment I went to bed, went to watch the Mighty Spurs hold the not so mighty manks to a draw, got soaked walking to the train station on the way home and low and behold all the trains were cancelled, great so I walked another twenty minutes in the rain to get a lift, so to save the OH driving in the rain I said I would drive, so whats the first thing I did before I left tescos car park, drive straight into a bloody tescos trolley, I hate the rain.  >:( >:( >:(

Forecast said it would be sunny today.  Wrong again!
Keep Calm and Carry On

Well I finally got down there. All three genrations of women in my life went shopping today. My Wife, my Daughter and my Grandaughter.

Not wishing to follow them around like a puppy dog, looking at this dress and looking at that pair of shoes, sniffing endless samples of womens after shave or whatever it is, I went and sat in my shed. Made my flask, went and sat in my shed and done nothing.

Just sat there thinking, planning and longing for spring... It was great!
Tony.

Just need some decent weather between Christmas and New year when I've got a long stretch off work. What are the chances? ::)

And I want to win the lottery so I can buy a new narrowboat... Chances? About the same!

This is exactly what I do when the weather is bad. Just being at the lottie is sometimes all you need. Time to yourself to think and plan the year ahead  :D

Coffee or tea drunk at the lottie just tastes so much better. Don't you think?  ;D
