Do you have much left over the plot?

My leeks are now a about twice as thick as a pencil and the brussells are just about showing and about 14"high.

Neil

Down to about 30 leeks and about 10 sprout stems. The Nero Kale is mad at the moment and the PSB should start anytime now...  ;D

Deb P

My PSB is a bit pathetic so far this year. I reduced the number of plants I grew as they did so well the year before, now I'm left with 3 little specimens!

Still have about 20 leeks and some Black Kale going strong.
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

and the January King and Savoy Cabbage. A few bronze arrow lettuce in the greenhouse.  :)

There should be enough PSB WSB and 9* to let you snaffle some Deb...  ;D

Cheers!

I do like me PSB...... ;D

I have about 6 Leeks left and a lot of blown/tiny sprouts.
Lots of Celeriac to dig up and a few Swedes.

My PSB is doing ok - but there is a rabbit that keeps dropping by for a nibble!
2 Nine-Star perrenial brocolli plants have clung on into their second year too.

On the bright side my Garlic and Welsh bunching onions are looking good :)

My PSB is about 18"-24" high and started sprouting about a week or so ago, the WSB has started too :)

The Premo cabbages have a red tinge to the edge, is this normal?

Neil

Don't know that variety but many overwinter cabbages have a red tinge...  :)

I'm picking up some good mentions of black (nero) kale....worth trying it as something new this season?

PSB....got 5 plants and after the collared doves have had their feasts, I'm left, mainly,  with 5 stalks :o - but hey! each stalk is topped by the purple stuff...well, when I looked yesters it was. :-\

Leeks still babbies but putting on growth - finally.

Autumn sown garlic a Triumph 8)

Egyptian Walking Onions colonising their plot.

Rhurbarb well-through but not forcing any this year - went into overdrive last & I've still got loads in the freezer.

Perpetual spinach & swiss chard still producing.

Didn't grow sprouts this last season - regretting it now.

Still got herbs in abundance in the garden & chives are going great guns.

Not bad, overall, for a garden plottie used primarily for summer veggies.

Like you saddad, still plenty growing.  Didn't pick any greens as I didn't need any, but I also have lots of cavalo nero, bright lights chard, spinach, sprouts, PSB about to start and a row of winter hardy lettuce, no idea of variety as old Jack gave them to me.  ;D

Oh, and the Jerusalem artichoks are the limited edition 'Supersprout'.  ;D ;D
