is it to cold to plant out spuds? im itching for stuff to do also im running out of windowsill space aaaarrrrggghhh!!

We started putting ours out yesterday.. this cold snap should be a bad memory by the time they put their head up..  :-\

Hoping to get at least some of mine in tomorrow.

It is traditional to put them in on Good Friday.Not very scientific I know ,I like tradition though. ;D

My earlies went in 2 weeks ago.  2nds and main crop are still in the shed.

only getting air frosts at the moment ,earlies went in last week 3 rows got the week of at easter so gonna put my mains in then

got down the plot earlier and it was glorious! i left the spuds at home! nevermind ill have to do them next week.
i finished my bean beds and also made a bed for my corn

i love looking at the picture of allotment site you always seem to see something new. Doesn't the sky look blue on the photos, almost like summer ;D

they should be ok its right next to my garlic patch ;D

Plant them deep Simmo you don't want them coming up in the frost I'd say the depth should be about 6 foot under.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
