I am sooooo chuffed (albeit slightly worried I may have jumped the gun somewhat) - the largest of my cucumbers (note: cucumber, not cucumber plant!) is actually 23cm long!  And it's grown a whole centimeter just today!   :o I swear that plant is just posessed.  The plant is reaching the ceiling in the conservatory - should I pinch out the growing tip?  It's a burpless green btw (yes, I know it should be outside, just not sure whether it's quite warm enough yet...).  And my Euphya isn't far behind either!

Expecting a bumper crop this year, yum-yum!

Regarding planting out...

That kind of depends on where you are.  If youre in Jersey/Cornwall then yes.  Otherwise I wouldnt for at least another 3 weeks.

If nearly touching the ceiling and its in a conservatory then the shock of moving is going out be quite high I would have thought.  Better to leave and pinch.

Best laid plans and all that

I'd pinch it out... but you can grow it along horizontally if you can rig something up for it to hold onto...  Well done... mine have just got their first true leaves..  :-[
