hiya, leets, welcome to a4a  ;D
squish 'em..sounds like gooseberry sawfly, they can strip the leaves off a bush very quickly

leets

Thank you, is that all i can do can i not spray the bush with something?I did put some rubarb leaves under the bush but it seems that did not work lol.

Welcome to A4A Leets, yes you can spray them, but you and the birds end up eating some of it. I squish them... put some paper down before you start as a lot of the little **** drop onto the soil when threatened...  :)

leets

Yeah never thought about that i will try and squash them lol.

Well its 3 days since i found the little buggers and today when i went up there was only 1 so i hope if i keep checking my gooseberry will be ok, can anyone tell me if the leaves will grow back where the catterpillars have striped them?
Cheers Leets
