I did wonder about another side to the situation when I heard it on the TV news.  The police have always given me excellent help.   Have been carjacked, burgled ect..

They drive through our village twice a day.

More frequently seen dropping into the local cafe.

Had to involve our MP before they took any action against a gang of 15 kids causing trouble all over the place.

You have to speak as you find.

Police????? ???Waste of time space and our money, A month ago a gang of men targeted a neighbour in our street smashed all the windows broke down the door and beat up the mother father and two children. I rang the police so did about 20 others including our councilor who is also a JP
How long did it take for the police to travel from the station 3 miles away - 2 hours and their responce to us people shouing at their poor enforcement of the law was to be threatened with arrrest. They get over £30000.00 a year and for what?. If you want to find them after 10.00pm try the back room of the local Pub -  I expect that's were they where when we all phoned and they had to take a couple of hours to sober up >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Seems that you all get some response from these people. All we get is a call from the police support line asking us if the action the police had taken was good enough.
My response was the lack of action more like as they did not show nor will they as we are in a village on the outskirts of a large force who say they are needed where the crime is highest and not where it happens once in a blue moon. Trouble is that it started to escalate and before you know it they have all moved to where they know the police will not come to as they say not much going on round there for them to go to.
Gone ar ethe days of the the local bobby being able to give you a clip round the ear and taking you home for another from your dad.
Mustn't upset the poor little things as they might grow up to be worried they might get more.
We have to stand up to any kind of bad behaviour done by those who wish  to upset they local harmony of which the majority of us try to keep.
The law needs to be updated and brought into the 21st century.
If anyone has commited a crime then they loose the right for justice from their victims and the full force of the law should be brought to bear.
I do not mean an eye for an eye but justice needs to be seen to be working for the victim not the criminal as we the general populus see it.
Zero tolerrance is what they always spout off then do so. Get these villians off the streets and into something that they dont like doing.
Basket weaving, Sh*t tank cleaning or something.
I say bring back the old ways of policing, to much has been given to these little vagabonds nowadays and it has to stop.
