Ding ding, round two ...

Gents come now, no need to fall out over someone that neither of you knew :)  Just accept that each of you have different opinions of said man and a different sense of humour as far as jokes are concerned.  Don't get personal with each other and then regret it :)

I've got no opinion of MJ either way, I grew up on Billy Jean and Thriller and it suited the time perfectly. I also really felt sorry for the guy being hounded by the media, Martin Bashir should be ashamed of the way he portrayed him in that 'documentary'.

However I am a sucker for a bad taste joke, I apologise.

and the possibility of of a surge of MJ impersonators now is much greater than with Elvis. There's an internet thing that by 2012 one third of the world's population will be Elvis impersonators. This is a wilful misinterpretation of " exponential growth". Highest estimate is 100 million, but probably closer to 1 million

But RT, some of them are so like the real thing ...?

but can still appreciate "black humour"....  :-X

Fail to see............."the humour" :(

saddad

I can accept that Betula.... many things that are supposed to be funny go right over my head...
each to their own.   :-X

Always when someone dies the jokes pour in, best ignored if you feel any emotion for the passing.

Perhaps it's all this availability on the internet because I certainly don't remember jokes about Bob Marley, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix,  all taken too early.

Not a fan of MJ myself but I do appreciate that he was a remarkable dancer not to be matched for a long time.

We are in for a long haul of shock headlines I'm sure but that's what sells newspapers to the masses as we all know.

Funny how this is more important than young men being killed in wars isn't it!

If your not a fan turn off the news like me, don't buy newspapers and head back to your allotments.

Love and Peace to all

I think you should be allowed to say what you like about dead paedophiles without people getting on their high horse... And for those who keep saying that he wasn't convicted - paedophilia was a psychological disorder long before it was a crime, and he clearly displayed an attraction to snuggling up with young children.

And now all this lady Di nonsense... what next, the people's paedo?!

His music was rubbish and now his children can sleep with their eyes shut - at least they can rest in peace.

Judge and jury AND medically qualified Ollie?

I told you - the legal bit is a red herring - it is a psychological disorder, you don't have to be found guilty, you have to display the symptoms, which he clearly did.

It is very funny that people think liking someone's art makes the artist innocent - 2 entirely unrelated things!

You TOLD me?  lol @ Dr. Ollie  ;D

OllieC
