Well at last he mended the front wall.  Came home from the allotment (like you do) and had a note left to tell me he had done it (must think I can't see).  Rang him up to thank him, but he had to go for a drink as it was hard work.  Want to watch Gardeners World as young boy I know at the allotment is on it tonight so turned the TV on and it doesn't work.  He must has disconnected the ariel as wires are hanging out the front wall.  One step forward and two back.  If I ring him he will say, you said you wanted to get rid of the TV as the programmes are rubbish.  Luckily I can watch it on the computer or the old TV in the bedroom if I find out how to turn it on.  At least the front wall looks better, apart from the fact he moved all my pepper plants to the wrong place.  Moan and nag over.

Just found out what the problem is, the black wire (aerial) is cut and going nowhere.  Just try and sort out old TV in bedroom.
