I've got Tondo di Toscana also doing well.

Don't turn your back for more than a couple of days - I harvested 3 larger than football-sized last week!  ;)

saddad

They certainly swell quickly...  :-[

shirlton

We grew them last year and they took over the top of the plot cos they started creeping
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

ceres

Thanks for the tip shirl.  I'll keep an eye out for any creeping tendency and nip it in the bud 'cos there's nowhere for them to creep to!  They're squeezed in between a Custard White and a Black Forest.

Ceres,do you mean like this??   ;D

The others on the table are Tristar...they are supposed to be three different colours.Dark green, pale green and yellow. So far only pale green :-\

Yup!  That's the one.  Serves you right for taking holidays!  ;)

Mine spherical one is Tondo di Piacenza from seeds of Italy. Have grown it for three years and very happy with it.

I'm trying this variety for the 1st time and have to say they are delicious! And are great stuffed with other veggies. Although mine aren't that prolific :-\

Squashfan

I've had several cricket ball-sized ones now and they're loooovely. First year growing them.  :)
This year it's squash.
