Millertox?

Never heard of this - but the chap I inherited the shed from has left a large blue barrel which he had kept diluted millertox in. I was going to use it as a rain butt - but it smells really chemically.

Does anyone know what Millertox is and what it does.

By the way i am organic - but seems a waste of a barrel if i can wash it away without doing harm. Do think it will need several goes though.

Think you will find its actually called "Armillatox" and its an herbicide.

I knew it was going to be something toxic - but not to what. He said he put it around the cabbage roots to prevent clubroot - so though it may be a fungicide.

Have read the link now, and looks like I could wash it out to get rid of residues.

It was widely used as a "cure" for Honeyfungus..  :-\

It's not a herbicide, it's a sterilising agent which is used as a fungicide.

I do the Greenhouse with it each Spring.

A light spray of it is good at removing green algae from patio paving (don't rinse off) - it hasn't harmed the surrounding flowers and grass.
