Well done again Betty. Your site really does do loads for charity
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

tomatoada

Congratulations.   When is your next open day please?    I must put it on my calender.

lorna

Wow! what a result, well done to all your plot holders.

Squash64

Thanks for your replies  :)

Tomatoada - we have our Plant Sale and cream tea in May and the Summer Fayre is in August.  We haven't finalised the dates yet but I will let you know when we do.

Next Saturday we are giving £1,000 to the County Air Ambulance.

We are very lucky on our site that we don't really need anything for ourselves in the way of facilities, equipment etc.  We made the decision three years ago to raise money for charity and since then the money just keeps coming in.  :) People are very generous and the charities we chose are both very popular.

I am so glad to hear you are  supporting an  air ambulance service.  In August my 25 year old grandson came off of his mountain bike in the peak district.    He dislocated his ankle [his foot was facing backwards] and fractured his tibia.   He was airlifted to a nearby hospital which deals with accidents in the Peak district.   The accident was mid -afternoon.  An hour later he was in theater.   Today he is limping round with a stick.  I am sure the speed and expert first-aid he had from the ambulance crew made a great difference to the outcome.  I must add that the surgical treatment was also very good.

Well done and if Kev did sneak into the picture hope that he put his hand in his pocket.  Just waiting for a funny remark back from him.  ;D ;D
