It is usually suggested that people with arthritis should avoid the red tomatoes. Yellow and orange skinned ones are better for them. Cannot remember the chemical involved.

The red chemical is Lycopene but I have never heard of the possible effects on arthritis!!
Cant seemed to find much other than positive effects...
Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!
