This plant was growing on the balcony of an apartment in Sicily.

It was a bit neglected, but it had some lovely flowers on it.

Does anyone know what it is?

A type of frangipani?  Would suit Sicilia climate, I would think.

I would have thought kumquat.  The large leaves and the flowers you show are reminiscent of the kumquat plants (shrubs) we saw in Corfu.

Thank you for the suggestion, but after frangipani was mentioned, I googled it and would say that it looks more like frangipani than kumquat.
But thanks anyway.  :)
