Autumn Planted Onion Setts

I bought some onion setts in the autumn and forgot to plant them! Can I plant them and some garlic when it thaws or is it too late?

I certainly do not think you will be alone planting out after the thaw. They should grow ok but probably wont get as big as they would have.

Frankly I am wondering if those I planted have survived the frost which we have had so you may do better from waiting.
