Did anyone else catch this?  I found it a gripping and chilling tale which was adapted from Kressmann Taylor's novel.  Here's the link if you fancy listening:

Yes, it was superb! And now having heard it I would like to read the book
Sometimes the afternoon play drives me mad but other times, like today, it stands out on it's own

may listen to it, but it seems scary it was written in 1938... before the war...
