My tomato year looked a bit bleak at the beginning of the season when some of my toms got blight early on, I lost some plants and it was hard work keeping up with removing infected foliage. But what started off so poorly has improved a lot and I am happy to say I'm still picking loads.

Best is I've added a few new to me varieties as favourites to grow again, including;

Green Doctor and Green Doctors Frosted, both so sweet cherries with just the right balance, most definitely growing next year.
Pink Boar, stunning to look at and super to eat, great depth of flavour.
Harvard Square absolutely spectacular inside and out, red green silver/white and tasty too!
Michael Pollan, turned out not quite the right shape but looked so pretty and beautifully sweet and nicely tangy.
Medovaya Kaplya, stunningly sweet little pear shaped yellow fruit yum.

Love to know if anyone else has found a new must grow again variety this year?

Yes..those little black ones...I do hope you will be saving plenty of seeds from those.. ;)
I cannot complain this years tomato yield..it is such a relief after 3 bad years to finally be rewarded  some proper fruit.
I've grown quite few varieties this year that are grown as "2nd chance and if not good then out"..and for my suprise I've got 2 more for my addition of "must grow again and again"...what did I do wrong when I grew them first time? ::)
One of these is Nebraska Wedding..good 'tango' orange colored medium to large fruited bush tomato...and nice taste..
2nd..Presto..cordon..with round & red, medium/large fruit..fruit is almost solid with flesh with only little of the 'juice' and few seed..
3rd...new one for me..Daffodel..yellow cherry..bred from Gardeners Delight..
The Plant is now over 3 metres tall and is covered with trusses..It started fruiting very early, first trusses were resting on soil..and the fruit is good tasting, although the have to be properly ripe before sweetness kicks in..I'll be definately growing those again...not only quantity but good flavour too.

Yes I have saved a few of them and some of the other Blues as well.

I didn't have space for any Nebraska Wedding this year, though from your description they sound good and I look forward to growing them next year.

Have you found Daffodel is as sweet as Gardeners Delight?

Yes...I think it is..I should have grown GD next to it to have good tasting session.
OH..does your Golden Tiger make much seed? I got one of those plant from you earlier on..the fruit is tasty and quite meaty..but not one of them have any seeds in them ???
I had another 'seedless' variety this year..Fantom...and I've run out of seeds now to ::) ..so if anybody happen to have any spare I would love to swap some..please..
Some mention earlier on the year that they are going grow Volkov toms....how's your tomatoes? Taste?
I don't know if the problem is just with mine or is it variety..but my Volkovs are totally tasteless ???..now sweetness..no acidity...they are absolutely odd..just wet in mouth...some bite..but no flavour..non!...weird..
