does anyone know what this climber is and how to treat it ?
My neighbour has it in a pot,it's been in his sheltered garden but he's put it in his consevatory as the temperature drops.Should he cut it back ?Keep it indoors ?
Any advice would be gratefully recieved as it's a lovely plant and he doesn't want to lose it . :)

Hi Adele

It's Thunbergia.  I've only ever had one which I treated as an annual but I believe it's a half hardy perennial.

This looks like Black Eyed Susie (Thunbergia Alata) to me.  Its an annual and wont survive the winter.  He should be able to save some seeds for next years plants though  ;)
Take time to stop and smell the flowers.

So if he trims it back and keeps it in the conservatory it might survive, and save some seeds as well  ;)
Thanks both  :)
