I'd recommend the tribute to Pete Postlethwaite.

If I'm in and this programme  http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00mkzkd
is on followed by Shaun the Sheep between 3.30 and 4.00pm I have a cup of tea, along with a couple of digestives, and relax for half an hour!

How times have changed with children's programmes. There is one on at about 3pm & if I had little ones I wouldn't want them watching it. It has monsters in & the odd time I've seen it they seem to use the word f#rting a lot.

Shaun would be allowed, although I haven't seen it so I do hope he behaves.

1066 Part 3 Spring into Summer was on last Friday evening -

perhaps we should start another thread for us Shaun the Sheep fans - as you know
" he does hang around with those that don't bleat"  ::)  ;D

Anyway have just watched May and June - and as per the other episodes it was superb. I loved seeing the blossom, reminded me of growing up and gardens I played in as a kid :)

It is a great pity, though, that the producer of "In a Cottage Garden" chose such a dreary, unenthusiastic gardener.

;D

Ninnyscrops.

Jakers fans here  ;D

Her programme has brightened up the winter for me and helped lots of folk get organised for the seasons ahead, I hope.

Just watched the spring into summer , wonderful.
She just captures how it feels to be a gardener. and makes that love of plants and soil feel so natural and normal.

Have hive envy now though!
