Is comfrey tea acidic

Is comfrey tea good from raspberries.  The leaves of some of mine are turning yellow.

Is that magnesium deficiency, I added epsom salts to mine last year and they picked up.
I would think the comfrey would also do them good :)

Epsom salts are no longer available at the chemist, it is rather expensive from the gardne centre.  It does seem available from Amazon but you have to have such are large packet.

Porblem with the comfrey is that it will also be on the same type of soil so presume that is magnesium deficient as well.

Isn't one of the reasons comfrey is good is that it sends long roots down to pick up nutrients and minerals from deep down? Just wondering if it might help and don't think any harm in trying :)

Epsom salts are no longer available at the chemist

I suspect it's just sold under a different name - i.e magnesium sulfate.  That is, unless they've stopped in the last year.  I bought a reasonably large tin for not a lot of money about two years ago and I seem to remember that a little goes quite a long way!  ;D

I just had a quick look at eBay; it seems to be the place to go for epsom salts. 2kg for £1.99 plus postage.
