how to eat kohlrabi ?

hi all, whats the best way to eat kohlrabi, mine are ready to harvest but i have never eaten them before,cheers rick ???

I suppose there is no best way..it just how you want them.. ;) I peel the outer layer off and usually just chomp away in small pieces..or if I really feel like doing fancy stuff..I grate it and make it sort of coleslaw. But you can add it into soups/stew etc. Just like using turnips or swedes..but they do cook quicker so leave it bit later when adding on to hot foods.

Yes it's nice peeled and grated finely, into coleslaw, with a mayonnaise dressing. Mix it with carrots too. Anyway you use turnips, you can use it.
