Thank you everyone for your good wishes.  We have been up to Wenlock Edge in Shropshire with our touring caravan for the past week, so spent my birthday in beautiful countryside.   Hubbie cooked me a lovely sirloin steak with peppered sauce together with courgettes and new potatoes which we dug from our garden before we left.  It was all washed down with plenty of sauvignon blanc and a glass or two of Campari and tonic. 

I had another birthday celebration when I got home as I had cards and presents waiting for me.  We will have another celebration at the weekend as my other son and our grandchildren will be here with us........more wine and lovely food I hope.  Thinks....Now I must get my husband's pinny out of the caravan.
