Have been on a list with a rehoming centre as we were looking to home a kitten. Had a call 2nite to say they have 2 6 month old sisters (tortoise shells) pickle and milly to be homed together. We have said yes but they have to see my kiddies reaction to them, so we are going tomorrow to visit. Will post piccies if we pass the kiddie test.... Wish us luck

Wish you all the luck in the World ;)  and hope your children go in harmony with Pickle and Milly, :-*  we have a puppy as a result of a mismatch with our grandchildren but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as we have him and love him to bits, his name is Harvey 8) ;D

Thanks....

Harvey is a real sweetie.

Have fun, I'm sure you will all love them!

(Harvey looks like a bundle of trouble!)

Unfortunatly Louisa couldn't home them, so we went and had a look this afternoon and we're taking them home next Sunday ;D

Milly & Pickle

I am soooooooooo excited!

They still have that "wary" look (who can blame them!) but are beautiful.  Trust they will have a long and happy life with you, Em - they are lucky girls.....

Awww, I bet Louisa's children were disappointed :( still maybe if you live local they can visit, nice that you could help out Emma. ;D

Louisa and I live in each others houses, so yep they'll see them a lot (I'm pretty sure Lou was the most dissapointed :(  )

The lady that is looking after them at the moment hasn't had them very long and they were only spayed yesterday, so yup wary look is still there.  Milly is very outgoing never the less, and bounded out to see us when the door was opened purring all the way.  Pickle was very shy and quiet and prefered to stay hiding in the litter tray!

Will be interesting to see how our other cat Mort (see moggy and doggy thread below) reacts. I'm expecting lots of sulking.

Yes I am completely distraught about not being to have the girls, but I can't think of a better person for them to go to.  There'll be plenty of visiting xx

they look lovely. hopefully they will settle in when they realise a good thing when they see it!

So thats Milly.  Pickle is a bit camera shy at the moment, but hopefully by the end of today I'll have some of her :)

Mimi

Awww she is so sweet. Cant wait to see Pickle.
Take time to stop and smell the flowers.
