Does any one know of a good self contained solar power CCTV system
that would cover the most vulnerable areas of our site that have constantly
been targeted over the years

You could try those motion activated wildlife cameras, they are very compact and usually camouflaged. It is a sad fact of allotment life that 2 legged pests will remove your hard earned veg even in the country where I live. :(
