Creme Tagliatelle with Chicken Bacon & Mushrooms

2 x chicken breasts
Fresh Tagliatelli (2 persons)
4 x unsmoked bacon rashers
250g Brown Mushrooms
1 x medium onion finely chopped
1 chicken stock cube (450ml water)
400gr of whipping cream
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
grated parmesan cheese
fresh parsley chopped
1 x fresh garlic crushed
olive oil
salt & pepper


heat oil in pan to medium heat and cook off sliced chicken breasts
and chopped bacon pieces after 5 mins........


add sliced mushrooms and chopped onion plus Italian seasoning and garlic
for a further 8 mins.


add 450ml of chicken stock and simmer for 10 mins reducing fluid
by half.


Reduce heat and add whipping cream,simmer on low heat for further 5 mins stirring untill thickened....Thicken stock with grated parmesan cheese and stir.

salt and pepper to taste

meantime cook fresh Tagliatelli to Al Dente (or to your liking)



serve noodles with chick bacon and mushrooms,spoon sauce over and grate more parmesan cheese and sprinkle parsley over.
