Are you guys on about the Russian christmas circa 6th Jan.

Nope (well I'm not) I'm on about the Christmas (2 yrs running) that I simply don't have time for.

I bought a few rolls of wrapping and some tags in the Smiths sale but that's as far as my organisational skills stretch for Christmas 2012, lol.

My parents Christmas decorations have been travelling this year - down to the new bungalow then back again as their move was postponed. Have tree will travel!  ::)

Mine are almost all down, leaving the tree till last as it is so pretty.

Found a box of crackers I bought last year in the M and S sale,oh well they will do for next year so partly organised LOL.

One thing I am sure of is that I will start buying gifts throughout the year, found it hard working and sorting everything out......must be getting old.

I sent my pressys to my daughter in Scotland in Nov beat the rush! made a couple of cakes, then got really sad as my grandaughter of 3yrs can't celebrate Xmas, my son and his wife are Witnesses ,she's my only grandchild, it was very hard we didn't put up any decorations as they wouldn't call on us, they came for boxing day lunch ,we buy things during the year to make up of the Xmas ,we wait 17 yrs of our grandaughter she is very precious to us ,please don't judge her Mum& Dad they are wonderful people,so this coming Xmas we are going away to Turkey  ;D to parts we haven't seen, sorry to unload my miserable Xmas it just brought it all back :'(

betula

I feel for you....we have family who are the same.

Their belief made it so they could not attend my Dad's funeral and give my Mum the support she needed. She has always been there for them.

Still the flowers with a note were a nice thought............not that I appreciated it.

Just put the Xmas decorations away, and found the Xmas cards I bought the year before and the wrapping paper, which I forgot about and bought more, so that didn't save any money.  ;) ;)  Must remember where I put stuff.  Granddaughter saw crackers last night, and Nan let her pull them, she does love crackers, so that wasn't any saving either, but at least they were half price.
