Has anyone started their true Potato seeds? Mine are well away and I can just see the tiny true leaves beginning to form in some of the earlier ones. At what point should i prick them out coz from my few berries I've got a lot of seedlings.....Do I treat them exactly as tomatoes?
I started early coz they are slow growers and the chillies and peppers get the propagator and star treatment from next weekend ;)

I won't be sowing mine until the begining to mid March, although I have a couple of mistakes on the go. You can prick them out at the 2nd pair true leaf stage, and plant them deeply.

Thanks for that. I'm not forcing them although they sit in the living room at night 15/16c. I should have used a trial pinch but I wasn't sure my seed would be viable so I sowed 2/3rds of it and have a lot of the little darlings.....
Anyone like to collect a few TPS PinkFAs plants are welcome. Sadly I don't think they'll post......But I live in North Lincs so if anyone comes our way PM me and come and help yourself...... :)

I won't be planting mine for a few weeks. They romped away last year, and I've no room to pot them on on the windowsill.
