My Grandson who will be just 8 by the summer has asked his Mother for a holiday as warm & sunny as Portugal, where she took him last year, but with things to do like Center Parcs, where Daddy took him, does anyone have any ideas??
We have a local Butlins for day trips when I'm feeling flush.

Not sure if you are looking at going abroad (I assume so as you mentioned "warm and sunny" and that counts out Britain!) but both Eurocamp and Keycamp offer similar activities to Centre Parcs throughout Europe - despite the "camping" reference in their names they both offer many different types of accommodation from tents to chalets to apartments.
