Blue Water Butts

Try your local bus depot

Bus companies get these by the dozen - they contain windscreen washer - they're usually grateful for someone to collect a few and take them away, saves them a fortune in disposal costs - it's easy enough to saw the top off which you can then use as a lid.

They used to come from places like ICI and other industrial sites as they had chemical containers within them.  Like rocking horse crap to find free nowadays.  Some gaffers on building sites may let you have the odd one if you ask.
