Been a lovely sunny day today bit nippy but when the blood starts to move around a bit you soon warm up. ;D
I put in Rhubarb and Elephant Garlic this morning (Don't tell me its too late ::)) then got a call on my mobile asking if I wanted help from my daughter and two grandkids. 8)

They turned up with pipeing hot sausage and egg sarnies and a flask of tea, what a welcomed site that was. :o ;D

We did a little digging and sh manure shovelling and then made our way home it was great. ;D ;D ;D

Saturday was wet and cold and I was too still too ill do anything, did not even go out through the door except for some logs for the fire.
Sunday. Second son and wife and 3 grandchildren visited, Sunshine after a bit of non sticking snow. Spent much of the afternoon wandering around the garden with the little ones. So no gardening again. Now tomorrow I shall.......................

Svea

yesterday was warm like a spring day. dug over the former path (muddy clay) which was hard work.
this morning though there was hardd frost on the clods and they were stating to break down already, so thats great :)
cleared the last o/w cabbages as they were infestated with white fly! saved myself from a  population of several millions while putting them in the bin (every leaf i turned over was totally filled with the blighters!)
dug over the former raised bean bed next to the former path ;) and it's looking good now - bed no. 6 is ready

Thanks Mike. A lot better today, the side effects of the very strong anti-biotics I have been taking for the last week have at last begun to wear off.
Somon's plot looks good in the Winter Sun,does it not though?
