Does anyone have any ideas on how to freshen up the insides of my favourite wellies?  When my shed blew away I kept my small stuff and wellies in a dustbin but unfortunately forgot to put the lid on once and the rain filled them with water.  Dried them out but they pong something rotten and so do my feet whenever I wear them.  Socks no good as they are rather tight.

Spoonful of washing powder in each one, fill with warm water and leave overnight.  Usually does the trick  :glasses9:

I may be wrong but i seem to remember someone telling me about sprinkling baking soda in you shoes or wellies in this case for getting rid of pongs..

Bicarbonate of  soda sprinkled in them, should do the trick. :happy7:

Thanks for the info.  Would be nice to stop my feet ponging something terrible, especially when I wear sandals and go straight to work from lottie.

Yipee.   Bicarb worked.  I am now smelling as sweet as should be. :blob7:
