Rag Rugs

It's winter. No gardening so I have gone all crafty and I fancy having a go. I mean the kind done with hessian and a hooky thing, not the kind where you knot the rags.
Has anyone done any? Any tips/things to avoid etc?

Not sure if this is what you mean, but I remember making my cat-in-residence a rag rug, as in 'the cat sat on the....' and I remember also making a wool one. I've just checked and I've still got 2 latch-hooks, but they're both (prolly) for the woolen ones......

Still, if you want them, I'm passing by a P.O.tomorrow and can get them off to you?
