My Day at the Council Offices

This happened a while ago,but thought id share it.

I was nominated along with 8 other ladies out of nearly 400 Volunteers @ St Peters Hospital  to receive a Citation for our efforts 2013.

To be honest im just part of a huge team that help and assist Patients and or visiting family members,as we know only to well how difficult visiting a hospital can be and a friendly voice hopefully goes part way to making that visit a bit easier.

There were over 100 people from different voluntary causes receiving their citation in what is after all a celebration of
the good work that goes on within the borough of Spelthorne.

I enjoyed myself and its not everyday you get to shake the Lady Mayoress,s hand.
