Thank you, it is a double special day because I become a full time gardener today (well not strictly because I am going to volunteer at RSPCA)  :toothy10: :toothy10: :toothy10:

Thank you. It was  a nice day we went for our motorbike ride to a little cafĂ© as usual.
Went downhill after tea though when I went to the allotment. I've had a lot of rubbish thrown onto my plot recently from a neighbouring house. Bricks, rubble, piece of wood with nails sticking out, car parts, BMW logo!! (x4)- might EBAY them!, sink plug (might be useful!) bagged up  dog poo. I was trying to discuss with suspects (one of two houses but 99% certain which one) but not seen them-then last night I found something double bagged and crawling with maggots. The person concerned has chickens and on gingerly opening the bag it was a dead chicken.
I wrote a note out on a piece of paper saying what had been happening and that any more I would be contacting the police and the council and was putting it over the fence when a female person starting shouting and swearing at me for throwing rubbish on her garden!!. I tried  to explain why I was putting the note over but got another tirade of f........ words!! Apparently the F..... fox killed their f........ing chickens last f.......ing week so how could it be theirs.    Eventually I got to speak to the male and had a reasonable conversation with him- but he still denied the chicken could be theirs. I eventually summed up the courage to check and the chicken had no head- typical fox attack and was crawling with maggots so about a week old!!    :BangHead:

Went home for a shower and a glass of wine :drunken_smilie:

Sad to read the day didn't end so well  :BangHead:  Normally it is a good thing to have houses nearby to deter litter and vandalism.  Not in this case.  Hope talking to them made them realise that their actions were really off and causing problems to a real person rather than just littering an allotment they don't care about.

You are  :angel11: for explaining!  Hope that's the end of the problem.
