Blowing a hooley down this way. I put extra support around the broadies but they are so tall this year even after pinching out, so they are bound to be damaged. I've only had one feed off of them.

My broadies looked totally flattened when I looked over the allotment fence this morning.
It was only earlier this week I saw the tiny pods starting to form. I'll go and have a look tomorrow when this wind has quietened down a bit.

Ace, your broadies look very impressive! I hope they recover.

They were alright, panic over. Not a lot of damage to the allotment site really the wind must have been coming over the hills and not from the sea. A few dalek lids here and there was it. I shall leave the support up as they must have got their feathers ruffled a bit and I don't want them to droop out.
