ahhhh Piccadilly.  I used to work in St James Sq.....aaahhhh happy days.......

Anyhows, the weather today, cold biting wind but beeeeeeeeeeeutiful clear blue sky, until that is, 10 minutes ago where it rained BIG DROPS for 30 seconds!  Blue sky again now.

Earted my spuds up just in case as they are through.  I guess my sprouts, cabbage and kohl rabi will be okay.

Our early spuds were also poking through, covered them over now though.  Contemplated fleecing carrots/parsnips which aren't up yet and new lettuce seedlings I transplanted out there today, but didn't bother.  Fingers crossed :)

Well, spent yesterday afternoon doing some work down the allotment - it snowed on me for while!!  Very chilly, but all new seedlings (and potential ones - even though I couldn't see any) tucked up under a cosy fleece blanket.

Back to the greenhouse (unheated) - thought I'd best cover my seedlings and freshly pricked out leeks, so did so with several sheets of newspaper.  Checked the minimum maximum this morning - it got down to just above zero, so hopefully everything will be okay!!!!!
