......of everything I've crammed into my small back yard!!!!!

From the left - yellow climber rose (underplanted with spring onions & radish), mint, red hybrid tea rose

Dwarf french beans, runner beans in square container underplanted with hyacinth, white floribunda (underplanted with baby beetroot) then fuschia cuttings in the chimney pot.

Recycling with a vengance, my strawberries are loving their new home.   The containers were all obtained from either car boot sales or architectural salvage dealers.

such a good ideal how u have stacked and staggered the pots

The 2nd & 3rd ones up are actually stood on a couple of bricks then I filled the remaining space up with compost & gave each layer a good drink of rainwater before stacking the next layer on top.

Once the layers were in place I then transplanted my strawberry plants over, gave them another drink of rainwater & left them to settle.   I moved them over the easter weekend & they seem to have taken the house move quite well.   There's ten plants in the tower plus I gave five others way (not bad considering I only bought six plants last year!!!).

I've got a pot like that one (black with paintings on).  Mine is painted red oxide and I grow all sorts in it, usually herbs or pansies or both.  Had it years and years and never repainted it  :)
I came, I saw, I composted

I just love the roses in the dustbins - how very ingenious of you! My garden could just about host a table tennis match, so I will certainly take a few of your ideas.
