The smell of hyacinths hanging all over the village.
More than 1.5 million hyacinths and hundred thousands of other flowers like gerbera, tulips, anturiums etc. and 700v volunteers are needed to prepare the flower parade in the Bollenstreek in the Netherlands.

Amazing!  My first trip to the Netherlands, more years ago than I care to remember, was specifically to visit the bulb fields and to attend the parades.  I have albums full of pictures, and even now they look amazing!  Brought back great memories Lady. ;D
